Olympic 400m champion Sanya Richards-Ross was carried off the track after pulling up midway through a 100m race in Atlanta on Saturday.
Richards-Ross, a 31-year-old who plans to retire at the end of this Olympic season, said last Saturday that she felt healthy, strong and fast.
That comment came after Richards-Ross finished seventh in a 400m at the Pre Classic in 52.16, well off the time she needs at trials on July 3 to make her fourth Olympic team.
