Rafael Nadal will be extremely busy at the Rio Olympics, carrying Spain’s flag into the Opening Ceremony and wanting to play singles, doubles and definitely mixed doubles with Garbine Muguruza, his uncle and coach Toni Nadal said, according to German press agency DPA.
“Rafael want to play in all three Olympic events,” Toni Nadal said, according to the report. “The [mixed doubles] team may not be as strong as [Swiss] Martina Hingis and Roger Federer, but it can still be competitive.”
