The "Nadalcaraz" train has come to a halt.
Despite three break-point opportunities late in the second set, Americans Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek defeated Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz to reach the Olympic men's doubles semifinal.
Nadal and Alcaraz, who were playing doubles together for just the third time, were simply overmatched by Ram and Krajicek, who have combined for five major doubles titles.
