U.S. Olympian Polina Edmunds will miss her next scheduled competition, the Rostelecom Cup the first week of November, due to continued recovery from a right foot injury.
Edmunds, 18 and the 2016 U.S. silver medalist, withdrew before the world championships last March with a bone bruise in her right foot.
Edmunds, who is training in full, is still scheduled to skate in her other Grand Prix series event, NHK Trophy in Japan the final weekend of November, according to U.S. Figure Skating.
