As Japanese gymnast Kohei Uchimura looks to defend his gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, he may start to block out the distractions and focus on the Summer Games.
Not because he is worried about how he will perform—but because Pokemon Go has gotten the best of him.
According to Kyodo News, the 27-year-old Uchimura has racked up a 500,000 yen (about $4,941) bill in roaming data in Rio because of the game. The scary part is that the Olympics haven't even started yet (and run through Aug. 21).
Seeing fees that hefty could make anyone to feel sick to their stomach.
