The first step towards the Olympics in Rio began Friday for the U.S. women's gymnastics team with Day 1 of the 2016 P&G Championships in St. Louis concluding.
U.S. stars like Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman return from 2012's gold-medal squad, but several newcomers will look to push the two for spots on the final roster.
