Former Olympic and Paralympic track star Oscar Pistorius appeared in South African court Wednesday, and on July 6 he will receive sentencing for his conviction of murdering girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
According to the Associated Press (h/t ESPN.com), Judge Thokozile Masipa officially adjourned the case Wednesday after arguments from the defense and prosecution.
Pistorius was initially found guilty of culpable homicide after shooting and killing Steenkamp through a bathroom door, but that decision was overturned last year and changed to a murder conviction.
