Having already helped the United States win gold in women's team gymnastics, Simone Biles earned a gold medal for herself Thursday at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
With an overall score of 62.198, Biles placed first in the women's individual all-around competition. U.S. teammate Aly Raisman came in second place, and Russia's Aliya Mustafina won bronze:
