For the first time in Olympic history, a gold-medal winner has been named in breakdancing—or breaking, as it's referred to in Paris.
Canada B-boy Phil Wizard, whose legal name is Philip Kim, won the event's first-ever gold medal after the sport was introduced at this year's Olympics. Phil Wizard took down the hometown hero, Dany Dann, in Saturday's final to earn gold.
In the bronze-medal match, the United States' B-boy Victor, or Victor Montalvo, took down Japan's B-boy Shigekix of Japan to earn his first medal in the event.
