The 2024 Summer Olympics continue to unfold, and basketball has remained one of the highlight sports. Group play for the men's traditional bracket wrapped on Saturday, and Team USA went out on a high note.
Led by NBA stars Joel Embid (15 points, 3 rebounds), Kevin Durant (11 points, 4 rebounds) and Anthony Edwards (26 points), the Americans recorded a dominant 104-83 win over Puerto Rico.
The victory secured the No. 1 overall seed for the U.S. men's team in the quarterfinals, which will begin on Tuesday. Fans won't have to wait that long for more basketball action, however, as both women's group play and 3x3 games will run throughout Sunday.
