The United States added to its gold medal haul at the 2024 Summer Olympics on Thursday morning.

The Americans are still lagging behind the gold-medal table, but they are clear at the top of the overall medal table.
Team USA heads into Thursday afternoon with 31 total medals, five more than France in second place.
China is the only nation with a double-digit gold-medal tally at the moment.
