Swimming came to a close, and track and field took center stage at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.
In the pool, medals were handed out for the women's 50-meter freestyle and the men's 1,500-meter freestyle. Michael Phelps swam what may be his final race in the men's 4x100-meter medley relay.
In track and field, golds were awarded in the men's 10,000 meter, the women's 100 meter and the men's long jump.
