Olympic 2016 Medal Count: Thursday's Updated Tally, List of Winners and Results

Brazilian Isaquias Queiroz dos Santos added a bronze in the men's 200-metre canoe single to the silver he won in the 1000-metre event and took the hosts' total medal tally for the Games to 13.

Hungary's Danuta Kozak produced the most impressive performance of the day in the women's single 500-metre kayak as she won by a distance, while Iurii Cheban of Ukraine set an Olympic-best time to successfully defend his title in the 200-metre men's single canoe.
