Thanks to a scrambled translation, Norway's Olympic team nearly ended up with enough eggs to make breakfast for everyone in Olympic Village.
And news sites all over the world making bad egg puns (sorry to add to that.)
In one of the first, and most harmless things-gone-wrong stories of the Olympics, comes this tale from the team's chef: Ståle Johansen told Norway's Aftenposten that he tried to order 1500 eggs using Google Translate (the very thing we used to look at the story in the Norwegian publication.) But, when the eggs arrived, it seemed he had added an extra zero on the order leaving him with 13,500 more eggs than he needed.
