The U.S. Olympic men’s and women’s marathon trials will air live for the first time in 2016, on NBC and NBC Sports Live Extra.
The top three men’s and women’s finishers at the Feb. 13 event in Los Angeles (coverage starts at 1 p.m. ET) are in line to make the U.S. Olympic team.
The last U.S. man to earn an Olympic marathon medal, Meb Keflezighi, is expected to headline the field. Keflezighi, 40 and the 2004 Olympic marathon silver medalist, could become the oldest U.S. Olympic runner of all time.
