Lolo Jones scratches out of Olympic Trials

Lolo Jones‘ Summer Olympic career appears to be over.

Jones has scratched out of the Olympic Trials 100m hurdles, which were due to start July 7 in Eugene, Ore.

She last competed Feb. 14, according to Tilasatopaja.org, and pulled out on the day of a June 4 meet due to an unspecified injury.

She said then she was “running out of time” and in “a dire situation.”

Jones, 33 is one of 10 Americans to compete in both the Summer and Winter Olympics.

She led the 2008 Olympic 100m hurdles final until hitting the penultimate hurdle and finishing seventh.
