GANGNEUNG, South Korea — When it comes to backing a unified North and South Korean women’s hockey team at the Winter Olympics, Oh Seung Hyun will tell you he is an enthusiastic supporter.
But on the question of whether reuniting the two nations — which have technically remained at war since the countries split more than 70 years ago — he will readily admit he’s torn.
“It’s a very difficult situation,” said Oh , 23, as he waited in a long line to get into Kwandock Hockey Center to cheer unified Korea’s women’s in their loss to Switzerland.
