K.J. Choi and Se Ri Pak have been named South Korea’s Olympic golf coaches for the Rio Games.
Choi, 45, is an eight-time PGA Tour winner with the last victory at the 2011 Players Championship.
Pak, 38, is a five-time major champion and LPGA Hall of Famer whose last LPGA Tour win came in 2010.
Choi shared the Farmers Insurance Open lead after play Saturday and went into the resumption of final-round play Monday one shot off the lead. A strong first half of the year could put him in contention to make the South Korea Olympic team as a player.
