Three-time Olympic champion Kerri Walsh Jennings plans to return from a second dislocated shoulder injury this season at the World Series of Beach Volleyball in Long Beach, Calif., in three weeks.
Walsh Jennings, a 36-year-old mother of three, last played July 10, dislocating a right shoulder in a match for the second time in two months. She said on July 14 that season-ending surgery was possible.
Walsh Jennings’ future plans will be evaluated after the World Series of Beach Volleyball, her agent said.
She previously dislocated the same shoulder May 27 and sat out one month.
