She finished with a time of 1 minute, 59.10 seconds to earn her first trip to the Olympics. Ajee Wilson and Chrishuna Williams also earned spots at the Rio Games with top-three finishes in the event
Alysia Montano missed the cut in heartbreaking fashion. The six-time national champion got off to a blistering start and after the first minute of the race held a significant edge over the field.
