Justin Rose having a blast in Rio, but now it's time to get to work

RIO DE JANEIRO — There’s been one highlight after another for England’s Justin Rose here at the Olympics.

The opening ceremonies had him at hello as the spectacle in Maracana Stadium filled with people overwhelmed him. He caught up with tennis star Andy Murray on the one-hour bus ride back to the athletes’ village following the ceremony. Has seen gymnastics, swimming and tennis. Trained with other Olympians.

But now it’s time to work.

“It's been a really valuable few days. I've really enjoyed it. Now it's time to try and get the attention fully on the golf,” Rose said Tuesday at the Olympic Golf Course, site of golf’s return to the Games for the first time in 112 years.
