Jordan Burroughs is going back to the Olympics, looking to become the first American wrestler to win back-to-back gold medals since 1992.
Burroughs, also a three-time World champion, swept Andrew Howe in the best-of-three finals in the freestyle 74kg division at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Iowa City on Sunday night.
Burroughs is now 123-2 in senior international competition.
He will be joined by five more wrestlers to clinch U.S. Olympic berths by the end of Sunday. Four of the five have already emerged. The quartet is made up of all first-time Olympians.
