John Speraw has agreed to a contract extension to coach the U.S. men’s national volleyball team through the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Speraw has led the Americans to a 59-24 match record since he took over in March 2013.
Speraw has led the team to wins in the 2014 FIVB World League, 2015 FIVB World Cup, 2013 NORCECA Championships well as a World League bronze last year.
“I love this job. My experience with USA Volleyball has been some of the best experiences I’ve had in the sport, and the opportunity to lead the national team has been an incredible high for me,” said Speraw, 44.
