IOC's Hickey declines questions on ticket scalping in Rio

RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — A high-ranking Olympic official is declining to answer police questions related to alleged ticket scalping during last month's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

A police official said Olympic Council of Ireland President Patrick Hickey declined to answer questions. Hickey also did not comment upon leaving a Rio de Janeiro station.

Hickey was jailed during the Olympic Games. He was set free last week after a judge ruled that he wasn't a risk to the investigation. His passport has been confiscated, and he must remain in Brazil until the probe is concluded.
