In 2016, Ben and Sarah True can become what is believed to be the first husband and wife to compete for the U.S. in different sports at the same Summer Olympics.
Ben, a 5000m and 10,000m runner, and Sarah, a triathlete, who live in Hanover, N.H., got married Oct. 18, 2014. Other U.S. Olympians in different sports married after their Olympic careers ended.
Sarah already qualified for the U.S. Olympic team, and her story of finishing fourth in London, trying to beat a countrywoman and being supported by Ben is documented here.
