Head Ski company says it is “fully behind” Bode Miller returning to competition this season, but that he must do so using Head equipment, according to a statement Monday.
Miller wants to void a contract with Head, his former ski sponsor, restricting him from competing in the 2016-17 season, to potentially compete on a different company’s skis this season, according to court documents filed in California last week.
“I am truly very disappointed to see that Bode has no intention to honor his word and that he intends to breach our agreement to that effect,” Head CEO Johan Eliasch said in a statement Monday.
