The United States men’s gymnastics team did not hit its goals in team medals, but one of its components took care of business on Tuesday in Rio.
Danell Leyva scooped up his second silver medal of the day after putting inn 15.5 a solid performance on the high bar.

In doing so, he helped keep teammate Sam Mikulak off the podum, as Mikulak posted a 15.4.
Germany’s Fabian Hambuechen and Great Britain’s Nile Wilson took gold and bronze, respectively.
