NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Gabby Douglas is back where her run to Olympic glory started.
The reigning Olympic all-around champion headlines the field for the AT&T American Cup on Saturday (NBC and NBC Sports Live Extra, 1 p.m. ET), the first major international event in the run-up to the Rio Olympics.
Douglas posted the top score in the 2012 American Cup, a victory that helped propel her to gold at the 2012 London Olympics.
The now 20-year-old Douglas says she feels like there is some deja vu happening, though the stakes are far different than they were four years ago.
