Sometimes it’s her body language that doesn’t suit their needs. Other times, it’s whether she remembers to put her hand over heart.
And other times, it’s her actual physical appearance (which is pretty troubling, although admittedly not entirely unexpected, in 2016).
“When they talk about my hair or not putting my hand over my heart or being very salty in the stands, really criticizing me … for me it was really hurtful,” Douglas said.
