SAINT-GERVAIS-LES-BAINS, France (AP) — Tour de France leader Chris Froome has crashed on a descent during the 19th stage after his bike slipped on road paint.
The two-time champion was able to continue racing after teammate Geraint Thomas gave him his bike.
The 146-kilometer (91-mile) ride features four ascents in the Alps and has been marred by several crashes on roads made slippery by rain.
Second-placed Bauke Mollema also crashed at a roundabout.
With his yellow jersey now torn, Froome caught up with the group of favorites before the brutal final climb to Le Bettex.
