U.S. fencer Kelley Hurley is considering retirement upon her third — and possibly final — Olympic appearance in Rio de Janeiro. One person who takes serious issue with that is her teammate and sister, Courtney.
"That's too depressing to think about," says Courtney Hurley, who qualified for Rio in women's epee alongside Kelley. "I don't know how other athletes do it on their own. I've always had my sister."
The Hurley sisters became the first of seven U.S. siblings to earn a ticket to Rio back in February and enter the Games ranked first and second in the national standings.
