Danell Leyva bitten by dog (again)

Olympic all-around bronze medalist Danell Leyva suffered two dog bites trying to break up a dog fight and trained in Hartford, Conn., ahead of the P&G Championships with his left leg bandaged Wednesday, his agent said.

Leyva’s injury is not serious, his agent said, adding that Leyva would provide further information when he speaks to the media before this weekend’s competition.

It is reminiscent of February 2012, when Leyva needed about 80 stitches around his right ear after being bit by one of his family’s three American bulldogs while trying to break up another dog fight.
