Caitlyn Jenner Will Not Be Charged for Her Role in Fatal February Car Accident

Prosecutors declined to charge Caitlyn Jenner on Wednesday for her part in a fatal car accident in February, according to Anthony McCartney of the Associated Press.

Jenner, who was towing an off-road vehicle behind her Cadillac Escalade in Malibu, California, struck two cars in front of her, and Kim Howe was killed when her car was forced into oncoming traffic. The district attorney's major crimes division was investigating whether or not Jenner should be charged with vehicular manslaughter charges. Ultimately, prosecutors determined there wasn't enough evidence for a conviction.

Blair Berk, Jenner's attorney, was pleased to learn that charges wouldn't be pressed, per the AP report:

We believed from the start that a thorough and objective investigation would clear Caitlyn of any criminal wrongdoing.
