Brittany Bowe captured her 11th World Cup medal this season and her fourth gold winning the 1000m in Hamar, Norway on Saturday.
Bowe, a two-time Olympian and Olympic bronze medalist, set a new track record with a time of 1:41.79 to beat Japan’s Nao Kodaira and the Netherlands’ Lotte van Beek. Bowe now leads in World Cup points for the 1000m.
Bowe will race again Sunday in the 1500m where she is in third place in World Cup points.
Bowe also finished fourth in the 500m on Friday in Norway.
