British Athletics clears Mo Farah after investigation

Great Britain’s track and field federation found no “evidence of impropriety” regarding Mo Farah after an investigation into his medical data, it announced Thursday.

Farah, the Olympic and World 5000m and 10,000m champion, was to have “blood data, supplements data, everything surrounding his medical treatment” investigated following a June 3 report that his Nike Oregon Project coach, Alberto Salazar, was accused of violating medical and anti-doping rules.

That June 3 report did not implicate Farah in any inappropriate drug use, but UK Athletics chairman Ed Warner said June 8 that Farah would be investigated.
