Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish win World Championships madison (video)

British cycling stars Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish teamed up to win the World Track Championships madison title in London for the second time Sunday, eight years after their first crown.

Wiggins, who shares the British record with seven Olympic medals, and Cavendish, a 26-time Tour de France stage winner, are both eyeing what could be their final Olympics in Rio.

However, the madison was taken off the Olympic program after the Beijing 2008 Games.

Wiggins, 35, hopes to make the British team for Rio in the team pursuit and break his tie with fellow cyclist Chris Hoy for the most Olympic medals earned by a Brit.
