An Olympic legend was born Friday as Australian B-girl Raygun took centerstage in Paris.
The breaking competition didn't go so well for Raygun, as she lost her three group matches by 18-0 scores, failing to receive even one vote from the judges.
The fact that Rachael Gunn, a 36-year-old lecturer at Macquarie University, was even in the Olympics is a true underdog story in itself, though. She's a former ballroom and jazz dancer who didn't start breaking until her mid-20s, per the Olympics website. But Raygun qualified for the Olympics via QMS Oceania Championships in Sydney.
