Australia basketball team to play Pac-12 team in exhibitions

NEW YORK (AP) — The Australian basketball team will host a team of players from the Pac-12 Conference for a pair of exhibition games before the Olympics.

The games against the Pac-12 College All-Stars will take place on July 12 and 14 at the Hisense Arena in Melbourne, says John Eren, Australia's Minister for Major Events, Sport and Tourism.

The Australians are expected to be without Golden State center Andrew Bogut, who injured his left knee in the NBA Finals and could be out two months, but could still have NBA players such as Matthew Dellavedova, Patty Mills, Joe Ingles and Aron Baynes.
