Anthony Davis isn't mincing words regarding the potential of Team USA at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
"Unbeatable," Davis told reporters when asked about the team's potential if it matched its effort from Wednesday's exhibition against Canada. "Offensively we were, to keep it frank, we were pretty terrible. But it's a good terrible in the sense of we were trying to make the right plays. ... [But] if we're worried about offense, I think we're in a good spot.
"Where we hung our hat tonight was defensively."
Team USA got off to a rocky start, missing its first six shots before kicking into high gear and earning an 86-72 win over a Canada team expected to compete for a medal in Paris.
