Andre De Grasse turns pro

Canadian sprinter Andre De Grasse turned professional and signed with Puma, the same apparel company that reps Usain Bolt.

De Grasse tied for bronze in the 100m at the World Track and Field Championships in Beijing on Aug. 30.

Usain Bolt won in 9.79, followed by Justin Gatlin in 9.80. De Grasse, 21, and fellow collegian Trayvon Bromell shared bronze at 9.92.

De Grasse and Bromell became the youngest Olympic or Worlds 100m medalists since 2003.
