IRVINE, Calif. (AP) — American Haley Anderson and Ous Mellouli of Tunisia won distance freestyle titles Sunday night at the Speedo Grand Challenge.
Anderson won the 800-meter free in 8 minutes, 37.93 seconds to go with the 400 free she won Friday at William Woollett Aquatic Center.
Mellouli, who trains in Los Angeles, won the 1,500 free in 15:13.87. He won event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and earned a bronze four years later in London.
National team member Katie McLaughlin won the 200 butterfly in 2:11.35. Anderson finished third in the tune-up meet for next month's U.
