For the second consecutive Summer Olympics, the United States women's gymnastics team will be captained by Aly Raisman, it was announced Saturday.
USA Gymnastics revealed on Twitter that Raisman will lead a team that also includes defending Olympic all-around gold medalist Gabby Douglas and three-time reigning all-around world champion Simone Biles, as well as Madison Kocian and Laurie Hernandez.
Raisman and the United States took team gold at the 2012 London Games, and they will look to repeat that feat next month in Rio de Janeiro.
At 22 years of age, Raisman is the eldest member of Team USA.
