Alpine World Cup races in Beaver Creek rescheduled for Val d’Isère

Men’s Alpine skiing World Cup races in Beaver Creek, Colo., in two weeks that were canceled have been rescheduled for Val d’Isère, France, on that same weekend.

Unseasonably warm weather in Colorado forced the cancellation of the Beaver Creek World Cup races. Next week’s races in Lake Louise, Alberta, were also canceled due to a lack of snow.

Therefore, the next five World Cup races are scheduled for Val d’Isère:

Dec. 2 — super-G
Dec. 3 — downhill
Dec. 4 — giant slalom
Dec. 10 — giant slalom
Dec. 11 — slalom
