A lyrical ending to an Olympic soccer match

NEW YORK (AP) — Done right, there's something lyrical about calling a soccer game, isn't there?

"It's a corner kick for Sweden in the dying embers of the game," said NBC's Arlo White as the minutes ticked away in Germany's 2-1 gold medal victory over Sweden in women's Olympic soccer on Friday.

Sweet. Very nice camera work, also, showing the goal by Germany's Dzsenifer Marozsan barely getting past the fingertips of Sweden goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl.

VOLLEYBALL: Speaking of good camera shots, there was a great picture of three American volleyball players laying themselves out simultaneously for the ball in the United States' loss to Italy.
