NEWTON, Iowa - Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine (WIN) has released its 2019-2020 preseason rankings, and the Old Dominion University wrestling program made the rankings, tied for 21stin the nation with Rutgers.
WIN magazine also released its rankings based on weight class, and four Monarchs are featured on those top-20 lists as well.
Senior Larry Early, coming off of a season where he earned All-American honors placing eighth at the NCAA Championships at 157 pounds, is ranked fourth in the country his weight class. Last season, Early defeated NC State’s Hayden Hidlay in a home dual between the two schools.
