NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s tennis team (2-0) served up the 2019 spring season with two victories at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center on Sunday. The Monarchs defeated Temple (1-1) by a 4-3 score and took down Hampton (0-2) by a 6-1 score.
ODU’s Holly Hutchinson and newcomer Brooke Pilkington each went 2-0 in singles action on the day. Hutchinson and Pilkington also teamed up to win both their doubles matches. Old Dominion’s Yulia Starodubtseva and Nataliia Vlasova also went undefeated in doubles play on Sunday in Norfolk.
The Monarchs will return to action on Saturday, Jan.
