NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team improved to 2-0 for the spring after downing Hampton by a 5-0 score. ODU had its Soccer Sisters program join them for the walkout before the game.
The first goal came in the 33rd minute, when Allie Brimmer intercepted a free kick, played it forward to Amanda Nhek who flicked it behind her to Kyra Ricks. Ricks dribbled past her defender and ripped a shot from the top of the box over the keeper’s hands and in the net giving ODU a 1-0 lead.
ODU’s second goal came in the 60th minute, when Blair Vilov received a pass from Reagan Tate, who turned her defender and attacked into the box.
