RALEIGH, N.C. – The Old Dominion women's soccer team (1-1) fell to NC State (1-0) by a 2-0 score on Sunday afternoon at the Dail Soccer Complex.
"We knew NC State would be good and they were," said ODU head coach Angie Hind. "Early on, they put us under real pressure, but we made some adjustments and I felt that we had a good hold on the game for the remainder of the first half, as well as early in the second. But, despite having a lot of the ball, we struggled to get anything going in the final third, which was disappointing.
