SAN ANTONIO, Texas – In its eighth consecutive win, the Old Dominion (19-3, 9-1 C-USA) women's basketball team defeated UTSA, 62-43 on the road. Senior and junior both recorded 14 points.
"We persevered. We're not able to play a lot of people. We had two guards out and so we're very limited and thin on the perimeter, but we found a way," head coach McCray said after the win.
In the first period, Old Dominion did not record one turnover and outscored the Roadrunners, 19-16. Sophomore led the way in the opening 10 minutes with six points.
