NORFOLK, Va. – Sophomore recorded a career-high 16 points on the way to the Monarchs (3-0) 68-44 victory against Winthrop (1-2) on Education Day.
"It's always great to have a game like this for the kids," said head coach Nikki McCray. "To represent the City of Norfolk and the Public Schools and so they can come out and see our young women and hopefully are inspired by how they play."
To open up the game, the Monarchs went 50-percent from the 3-point line. In the second quarter, the Monarchs opened up their lead with 20-second quarter points.
